2027 basketball recruit Adan Diggs is beginning to narrow his college list.
Diggs has trimmed his list to Arizona, Arkansas, Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina and USC. The 6-foot-4 guard from Millennium High School in Arizona is entering the next phase of a recruitment that features many of college basketball’s highest-profile programs.
About Adan Diggs
Diggs was one of the top players in the 2028 class before reclassifying into 2027. He has stayed near the top of the national rankings since the decision.
Diggs put up major numbers at the high school level, scoring 22.5 points while also grabbing 8.0 rebounds, dishing 4.5 assists and accumulating 3.0 steals per game during his lone season with Millennium. He was named MaxPreps National Sophomore Player of the Year as a result.
He also fared well against top competition in the Nike EYBL, averaging 18.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.8 steals per game with Vegas Elite.
College options
Arizona makes sense as Diggs plays high school basketball in the state. He attends Millennium alongside Wildcats commit Cameron Holmes, and Diggs is slated to take an official visit to Arizona on September 25.
But don’t count out the rest of his list.
Duke, Kansas, Kentucky and North Carolina are all storied programs with national followings. Arkansas is another program that routinely recruits Arizona and USC recently hosted Diggs on an unofficial visit.
Diggs told Arizona regional site Revenge of the Birds that he hopes to take an official visit to all seven schools before making his college decision.
Final thoughts from TESN
Diggs is a proven scorer, but he offers much more than that.
He’s got good size for the guard position at 6-foot-4 and has shown an ability to create for himself off the dribble, attack the rim, grab rebounds and make plays on defense. His rebounding numbers are especially impressive for a guard.
Digging deeper into his game will be important moving forward. If he continues to develop as a shooter and decision-maker when creating for himself, he has the tools to be an impactful player at the next level.
Next steps
Diggs has significantly cut down his list, and it’ll be interesting to see where he ends up visiting. He’s set up official visits with each of his seven finalists, which will help him decide where he wants to play.
As it stands, Diggs is one of the most important guards to track in the 2027 class.
